This is a great game to play while at a casino night themed roaring twenties party. Set up several games around the room those are normally found in the casino. Craps, Roulette and poker are games that most partygoers are familiar with. Upon entering give each guest the same amounts of money to play with but let them know that they have to stop when the cops bust in. After everyone settles in playing the casino games have the “cops” bust in and bring the games to a screeching halt. Whatever money players have in their hands at the time of the bust they get to keep, but whatever is being bet is confiscated. So, if a gambler is “all in” during a bet and the cops bust in, they lose all the money being bet.
Charleston Competition
The roaring twenties were certainly a time for celebration! Many popular dances were the craze of the time period. So why not use a dance game at your party? At the beginning of the party have a teacher there who will give a half hour less on the Charleston. After that, take a break so that the guests can fill up on snacks and drinks. At a specified time start the Charleston dance contest. Begin with some music from the 20s and after each song tap out a pair or two to leave the contest. After each song, or depending on the mood of the party remove pairs one by one from the dance floor until only one couple is dancing. At the end of that song announce them as the winners!
